March/15/ 2020  UPDATE: COVID-19 Crisis

FANHS-Hawaii State Chapter continues to monitor the progress of COVID-19. We will remain concerned and optimistic about ensuring the safety and well-being of all our attendees. Stand by. We will keep you posted on the FANHS Conference status scheduled for July 16-18, 2020.

FANHS Conference Host,

Hawaii State Conference Committee.

10/20/2019 We are working to make the sharing of your Filipino American research, story, workshop, class, panel discussions, all your presentations with all our attendees as rewarding as you wish it to be. We especially hope that you will enjoy learning about Hawaii’s Filipino American History and our history-in-the-making as well.

·10/20/2019 Check out our KAU KAU TIN page to learn a little about what a KAU KAU TIN  is and how it relates to this conference. When you have finished your reading of the basic description of the KAU KAU TIN, Please be ready to tell us what’s in your KAU KAU TIN when you’re at the Conference.2020 Conference & Kau Kau Tin

·10/20/2019 It will be great to have our fellow Filipino Americans from Guam join us. They have much to share with us, as well. If you know Filipino Americans and friends from Guam who would like to join us at our Authors’ Reception (check out our description under Author’s Reception). Or as a presenter, exhibitor, or as an attendee, please encourage them to join us,

· 10/20/2019 This Conference will be more than “business as usual.” Consider registering as an “Early Bird” before the registration fee increases on February 16, 2020. Make your reservations at the resort; you’ll want to be where the “action” is. Keep in mind the discount cost of the rooms and dividing the room cost among four people vs. the price of a car rental, parking fees, driving concerns if you are a party person. Also, Want to freshen up after the beach and exercise or take a quick nap? Just head up to your resort room. Convenient.
